Men's sabers are used in both war and hunting. The inspiration for this design comes from the traditional knives of The Tsou indigenous people of Taiwan. The body of the mug is shaped like a blade, with a wide mouth and a contracted base. The bas-relief line resembles an elegant arc of light reflecting from a blade. The handle, with its wavelike crests, is inspired by the tether hole of a scabbard, symbolizing “a new turn of fate, rising to new heights”.
