Inspired by the Udu, a round percussion instrument with holes in it, emitting different pitches, which was featured in the work of percussion theater “A Tale of Clay.” The designer has transformed it into a double-mouthed flower vase. Tilted slightly, it resonates when tapped, offering endless fun. And as the Chinese word for “pot” sounds like “happiness,” this vessel is highly auspicious.
